kweli4Real: My point exactly. The making no choice is essentially saying, "Give me more of the same." It will be hard, but the only real difference African Americans can make is to either opt out of party affiliation and register Independent, OR in each State, form a party dedicated to the needs of African America. I agree, opt out of the party affiliation game and register as independants, voting our interests regardless of party affiliation; or forming a party dedicated to the needs of AA's. Of the two, registering independant seems the most practical.

The $$'s not that fantastic, but the benefits can be astounding (until you need medical care after you leave!). When I speak of recruitment, I don't mean in the draft-like sense. I'm referring to the active recruitment of our children. I recently read a story where a mother was suiting over the privacy of her child. Apparently, because of some new governmental law,...

Jazzdog is correct the S.S. system is not racist if being racist means that the intention of this program was to be racist. However, if we look at the end results of this system and those who actually benefit from it, we can then say this system is racist not by intent but by results that it have no control over and because it can not control those things that give it the appearance of being racist it would be best if the administrators allowed those who do not benefit from this program to...
