Kobe Bryant – Don’t EVER Say Another Word about Trayvon Martin Commentary News — 27 March 2014 History matters. Knowing one’s history matters even more. Kobe Bryant clearly believes he has all of the answers. Be it due to his upbringing outside of America or life as an NBA superstar inside the velvet rope; clearly Kobe feels he has it all figured out. The player who has never stood in solidarity, shoulder-to-shoulder with ANYONE except his teammates on the court (or lawyer in the court room)...

Wow! I can only surmise that he is either delusional or a coward. Let's see, about a year after the fact, he still doesn't have enough information about the case? To enlighten Kobe Bryant and negropeans who think like him, here are the facts. 1. Trayvon Martin, a teenager, was walking home with a bag of skittles and a container of iced tea when he was stalked by a Neighborhood Blackwatch, oops, Blockwatch member; otherwise known as George Zimmerman. 2. Trayvon was minding his own business,...

So, it means absolutely nothing to him that Trayvon Martin was a child. It mean absolutely nothing to his dumb ass that if HE had been walking in Trayvon Martin's shoes that night, it would have been Him. If he feels so strongly about what he is claiming to believe, why don't he just come on down south or take his Black ass to certain parts of America, or certain sides of town or into certain communities in America and just walk around [without telling anyone Who he his], or drive his car,...

This is the schism in African American thought, between neo-liberalism and nationalism. All Kobe said he ain't the type to jump to conclusions because if America is like they say it is, then we shouldn't base it on race/ethnicity. And he uses the doctrine of liberalism to explain his position. And African Americans get pissed, even though majority of African Americans are liberals all the way of some stripe. It's funny.

Brotha RR wrote: + it is about the history of that brother, thus the reason for his usage of the Dr. King quote while facing rape charges. He also represents a drastic change in what we are use to from the mind of one of our athletes. He used Dr. King quote to make it appear that he was a part of the black experience since he claims that he grew up aboard. And that somehow it was impossible for him...a black man not from the HOOD...to rape anyone. And this is important why? Cuz white society...

Just what Black people does Stepin A. Smith think are exercising any “license to be unfair” and exactly who are the Black people that he believes did not “exercise a level of fairness and justice” in George Zimmerman murdering Trayvon Martin? Some boot-licking, groveling ass Black people need to have their damn teeth kicked in and somebody's size 12 or 16 or 22 up their self-hating, brown-nosing asses. Yeah, there are a lot of Black people in America [and the world over] that will throw...

Uncle Kobe and Uncle Stephen want a pat on the back for digressing over a meaningless point. Of course, George Z is not guilty solely because Trayvon Martin was black. George Z is guilty due to the facts. These heads up their ass Uncles want to avoid those inconvenient details.
