Lip service as a way to deflect any real attention that might expand the discussion as to WHY Haiti is in such a terrible economic condition. While its not directly related to the earthquake disaster in Haiti, there are quite a few stories on the victories populations...

Every country and their mama, including the United States, certainly flew "to the rescue" and made promises of helping Haiti in the disaster as well as helping Haiti to rebuild. Unfortunately, 99.9% of all this "Aid" and "help" wound up being no more than a...

Jailed for Life for Stealing a $159 Jacket? 3,200 Serving Life Without Parole for Nonviolent Crimes A shocking new study by the American Civil Liberties Union has found that more than 3,200 people nationwide are serving life terms without parole for nonviolent offenses. Of those prisoners, 80 percent are behind bars for drug-related convictions. Sixty-five percent are African-American, 18 percent are white, and 16 percent are Latino — evidence of what the ACLU calls "extreme racial...

Ingram, Rosa Lee (b? -1980) Rosa Lee Ingram and Sons Image Ownership: Public Domain When Rosa Lee Ingram and her two sons received the death penalty in 1948 for murdering a white landowner in rural Georgia, civil rights activists from across the nation rushed to her defense. The Ingram case represented an example of the emerging Cold War politics of racial protest and helped trigger local challenges to Jim Crow in the southwest corner of Georgia. Re: 23 Petty Crimes That Have Landed People in Prison for Life Without Parole

These people in the court systems are varying degrees of Slave Masters when it comes to us. If they can throw you in cages for small things for life and nothing can be done about setting you free, you are enslaved; no more, no less. That's why these fuckers give us no respect, because really, slavery is still in effect. Lincoln didn't really free anything; other than some Africans to fight and die in their Civil War. No one ever issued us any citizenship papers or freedom papers. We're just...

Unfortunately massa isn't gon do that. It's too much like doing the right thing. I still think it was a "hit." So many stories. One say...the dude shot Nipsey and then came back and shot him again. Some say the dude was part of the program Nipsey had going which allowed newly released inmates to come work for him to gain experience and training. This is why it's hard to help your people when they act ungrateful and act like YOU owe them something. Its soooooo draining. Cuz you wanna help...
