I personally dont see why we are surprised..... Just think, now this kid has to sit in this mans honors class.......and pull a grade. I think this is the school a kid in my fam went to. If I'm not mistaken, the principal tries to make sure teacher with children have their kids in the school. Parents can point fingers at anyone for there children's ills, and frequently do. Why do people think that where a kid sits has anything to do with what they learn....if you teach a kid learning principles correctly, they could go to school with green children and be okay. The lack of resources is the only issue that really makes a difference. A good teacher and a headstart during the developmental years (1-7) is all a kid needs to succeed academically. A kid needs to be shown how to perform regardless of where they are located and not believe that they can only learn...

I'm from the home of basketball so that was our main "game". But I played checkers and chess in school some times. I'm a latch key kid so there was no one to play board games with at home but the neighbors and I would play kick ball, dodge ball, and ride our bikes all day. And it is sad to see the kids of today.
