That's interesting because I was watching an old episode of Dave Chapelle the other night, and his musical guest was "Big Boi," one of the group members of the popular rap group, Outkast. He was wearing an outfit that was very similiar to the White dude's outfit that I described earlier in the discussion. But instead, the artist Big Boi wore a black velvet blazer with padded elbows, crisp white shirt, relaxed jeans, etc. Is Big Boi "gay?" I also spotted Will Smith wearing a velvet blazer...

how old is your friend? If she is over 30, then it sounds like she is taking the best deal on the table. I'm from the MD area, educated in DC[Georgetown U], returned to DC after grad school and have found that black women are the least approachable women of the all. Many DC black men agree with me on this. That's why there are so many mixed couples in the surrounding areas, i.e. Northern VA, PG County, Gaitherburg MD, Bethesda MD, and Silver Spring MD...have you ever been to Georgetown??

I don't believe in eternal souls, I believe that souls are impermanent essences. My view of the soul is similar to that of a Buddhist, or Aristotle's view on the soul: http://www.answers.com/topic/soul Jesus did not teach that souls are immortal, seperate, wraithly persons either: Jesus taught that the Kingdom of Heaven is not "here or there", but that is "within you". Instead of letting the poor white man suffer through an entire train ride, watching you and clutching his bag, just rob him blind as soon as you get on the train so you both can relax. Etc. Oh, now I get it. In comparison to other middle class communities of other races, unfortunately the Black Middle Class seems to be busy trying to emmulate the White Middle Class.
