I tried typing "Irish-American" and "Irish American" (with the quotes in both cases) into google, and got what appears to be exactly the same list of 461,000 hits in both cases. I had hoped that the search engine would distinguish, but alas, it doesn't. Oh, well... Your Chinatown fixation is another example of your superficial reasoning. These areas are greatly dependant upon the white dollar or the incomes of Asians paid to them by white companies. This area greatest source of activity and revenue is likely is tourism, which is most likely to be white. CF, "Ebonics" (what a stupid term) and linguistic nuances aren't always the same thing. A person can speak flawless English but still have subtle elelements to their speech which can mark them as belonging to a certain region, class, or ethnic group. One of the companies that is rebuilding Iraq is the Bechtel company. I knew the wife of one of the Bechtel sons about 10 years or so ago.
