Maybe that explains he WEIRD self-destructive behavior. He's been fighting himself. And duh! We need MORE black scientists that will TELL the truth instead of trying to incite white supremacy as if blacks haven't contribute ANYTHING to humankind...cuz that's a lie. It is because of US that is blackfolks that modern society today is somewhat civilized. I said somewhat. Maybe homeboy's been strugglin with the mad man within. And for a while the mad man has been winning. But!

Good for him but i think that Howard's acting career also has some self inflicted wounds and a lot of enemies based on reports: Terrence Howard: Bill Cosby had me blackballed. Terrence Howard has come out and revealed some rather interesting and surprising information about the start of his acting career. Via Eurweb: Terrence Howard said he was so angry over being cut from a part in “The Cosby Show” that he confronted the program’s famous star to vent his frustration – only to find himself...

Terrance NEEDS to grow up. He has a temper. And doesn't give respect to those before him, How you gone tell a MAN old enough to be YOUR father..."I'm a man too?" That's not respect for a legend. He disrespected Oprah by talking about her large breasts...she played it down. But Terrance is a drama king. Ask both his wives. Maybe it's better for him to change careers. Maybe this is tellin him somethin. Maybe he needs to go and finish his degree.....he only needs a couple of units I hear. And...

Again..I think they put too much invigsis[sp] of marriage-which I also think is a stereotype. However, I do agree that a three dimensional version of the lives of real black women are needed to balance out the hype of what it means to be a black woman in America. There are all kinds of stories but once found they put a WHITE face on it and make it a movie. As if it is unordinary to be for a black woman-when it most cases we are [and have been] the ones to be the FIRST pioneers of society.

I sure hope to run across more stories like this one because the Neo-Assault on Black women's/African American women's character [which is really born out of White racism and White racist mythology] is almost getting to be comical. It it weren't for the fact that so many obscure, damaged, Black males are now assisting our collective enemy [racism and racist stereotypes] in the character assassination of African American women, it would literally be comical. The fact that there are now so...

Wow! I was compelled a few months ago...maybe closer to 11 months to implement a "positive black people" task force in my community as a way to move forward into another venue to help our children acquire self-sufficiency without wearing myself out and by utilizing a "dream team approach." Its easier said than done. However, I am impressed by those positive black folks coming out of the wood works to participate in shifting the fate of our youth. I was kinda thinking along the same lines. I was wondering if only one HBCU in America could be saved, which HBCU should African America go all out to save; which one should it be. I think I came up with Howard, with Tuskegee a close second. So, guys, you have my pick and RadioRaheem's pick, now post your pick for which HBCU in America that should be saved if African America could save only (1) one .
