Re: They Say You're "Acting White"? You Probably Deserve It

ItAintEazy ·
*grins* You make it sound like those activities you've described are almost unexpected coming from a black person in your station. But you've overcame those lack of expectations and proven your black bona fides. Here, have a cookie, you've shut me up for good. In any case, you're still separating ourselves into "us" and "the other" or as you call them "ghetto blacks." That's about as white as it gets. And also you are still defining those urban schools and enviroments as places to flee...

You know what? This is what I don't get. Why would a hospital have food that is not good for human consumption? That would be the last place....right? And yet you go into the cafeteria and find hot dogs, sausages, links, bolonga, bacon etc all for the serving. First, we need to start with health professionals who are buying this stuff and feeding it to patients and the visitors. Make them accountable. What? They're trying to STAY in business? I think this is a CRIME. We have the ability to...

That's some excellent advice my sista! But there is one thing I am anal about in articles written to the public: SPELL CHECK. For example I was fine with this article until I saw " Limit the consumption of processed meat and read meat” It should say "red meat." And when I can catch it I always do [sp] if I don't have the time to spell a word correctly but this is message board so the standards are a little different. So...my question is how many hands did this article go through before it...

The Cancer in Occupy

Published on Monday, February 6, 2012 by Truthdig.com The Cancer in Occupy by Chris Hedges The Black Bloc anarchists, who have been active on the streets in Oakland and other cities, are the cancer of the Occupy movement. The presence of Black Bloc anarchists—so named because they dress in black, obscure their faces, move as a unified mass, seek physical confrontations with police and destroy property—is a gift from heaven to the security and surveillance state. The Occupy encampments in...

Don’t you know rockets are falling all over Gaza and Israel? Do you not read that more than 100 people have died already in brutal and insidious fighting that’s been going on since God was knee-high to a bogus misconception? Note: Not a real problem. Jesus Christ, quit whining about Twinkies already. Stop anonymous...

Bingo! And....you're absolutely CORRECT!!! But it is kinda sad and shameful. All I can think of is those folks who were affected by the Storm Sandy. I bet they could've USED some of that Twinkie money. And look it probably wouldn't take as long to get to them as it did the Red Cross. Shameful! But!

Uhhhhh....I just noticed the pic of the polar bear in the written article. This isn't relevant to anything in particular, but did you know that most people think polar bears have white fur? True story. Just sayin'......

This verse really make me wonder: King James Bible Job 2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man , one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause . "... thou movedst me..." The words I have made red, give me pause, because, what is God doing letting Satan move him or manipulate God in any...
