Well ... uncharacteristically for them ... this whole current political discussion about "immigration reform" is not just about what to do about the 10-15 million (mostly Hispanic) illegal immigrants that are currently residing in the U.S. The Congress is actually trying to come up with a comprehensive immigration policy that can be the "law of the land" when it comes to what to do and how to govern and regulate immigration. They're supposed to be trying to cover ALL the bases ... since the...

Part of me feels insulted that this Immigration legislation does not include Haitian immigrants, but part of me knows that it was the Latinos that go out and did all the work, protesting, negotiation, and Voting that would bring about such legislation. Also, Latinos are in such great number in this country compared to Haitian immigrants, and volume means something in America (sometimes). But, i also know that African American politicians sat back and did not one damn thing or said not one...

Well ... one of the major problems with the subject of "immigration" as a whole is what is - and is not - considered an "immigrant" ... as well as what is - and is not - considered "illegal" is a moving target!! The MAJORITY of the "illegal immigrant" Hispanic population that are here are here because whey simply walked over the boarder! There are many other "illegal immigrants" here (mostly non-Hispanic) for a variety of reasons: some actually came here legally ... but just over-stayed...

As I've stated a while ago, some years ago, the East Coast has an immigration problem where whites get in few questions asked. This has caused an increase in Russian and Albanian gangs and organized crime. This mess is never addressed when discussing immigration. African descended illegal immigrants almost always get turned out or their status is cut short as soon as their home countries become 'stable'. Now look at what has happened in Boston. I told you all so.

Like I've said before .... IF it were Black people (Caribbean/African) - instead of Hispanics - that had been pouring over the boarder 20+ years ago in the same number that Hispanics have been .... they would have shut that border down so fast people's heads would still be spinning around on their necks to this day!!! There's no way in hell Whitefolks would have allowed even MORE of us to engulf this country (i.e., more people with dark/black skin). But they...

http://thegrio.com/2013/04/11/...#s:african-immigrant Has America historically shut its doors to African immigrants? INDEED!!! Immigration is largely deemed a Latino issue but it affects black immigrants as well . While their numbers are relatively low, their history in this country is layered. Of course, the largest migration of people of African descent into this country was far from voluntary. In the 19th century, many free African-Americans tried to flee the United States and this...

We've been talking about this for a few years on this board. These articles are examples of exactly one MAJOR reason black people don't really mess with this immigration issue we are NOT included. Again proving that Dr. Anderson's assertions about this are correct. We need to wake the hell up.
