Yet only one or two of the candidates actually resembles that description. If Dean or Kucinich are actually in the running, would moveon claim they too are "moderate or progressive"? The unbrella group, Minority Voices, also sounds like a student group that might be of interest to black, latino, and asian students, amoung others. I would say the only org in this group that may overlap is the Black Student Alliance and the Black Student Org Conference. I think the key is what each of these groups mission statement says. Again, I do not know what the school true motives is for refusing to allow a NAACP chapter on campus, but if the NAACP mission is the same as the orgs already established than what is the need of a new Org.

So why is that "wooden" book more effective in teaching children (and allowing teachers to teach more efficently) how to learn the basics in reading, writing and math skills than a tablet computer in all it's various forms? What's that old saying..."sometimes less is more"?...and "more" (in today's case, much much more) can severly curve your learning. Having more does not make you smarter or better...

I would bet less than 10% But the effectiveness of computers was proven in 1987 and they didn't have tablets then. http://firstmonday.org/htbin/c...nterFriendly/507/428 The interesting thing about that case is that the teachers did not interfere because they did not want to be bothered with students they regarded as trouble makers.
