AMEN! What I would really like is for conservatives to explain is what exactly gays are taking from me if they get married. I have a position on many contravertial issues, but they all have one thing in common. They directly, or at least indirectly, affect me. If this minister is willing to sell his soul to the Klan just to suppress someone that has nothing to do with him, I say why wait for thier approval? Grab a sheet, burn a cross, and get on with it!

That's all BS. It all boils down to mathematics and numbers in a democracy. No matter if we had full voter participation on the behalf of blacks, we cannot squeeze more than our 13% out and 13% is simply not enough leverage to push our interest and agenda to the forefront. That's true even in the Democratic Party. The white vote is roughly split between the two parties evenly. There are 285 million people in this nation, 70% of whom are non-Hispanic whites.
