If we as blacks supported our Black colleges more and pushed to change the dynamics and cirriculum of these institutions so that they designed to improve the conditions of the masses of black peopl we wouldnt be having this problem. Europeans are not gonna teach you have to beat them, or to challenge the status quo, so if you go to school expecting thats are really crazy. The only reason I can think of for not closing the store where an incident that resulted in a murder took place is plain 'ol simple GREED!!! Why else would you think it's okay for people you want to make a good impression on - shoppers spending their money with you - to see another human being's BLOOD all over a section of your place of business?? And that's a damn freakin' shame!! I hope that store is sued (or boycotted) out of existence!!!!

I was in my local Wal-Mart store once when all of the electricity went out ... and, apparently, the generators didn't kick in. They cleared the store and put us out until the problem was corrected. I later found out that the MAIN reason for that was because the store's cameras and security devices were off-line and they felt they could not adequately guard against massive THEFT during that time. It was closed for about 30 minutes. And then ... it was back to 'shopping as usual'!! However ...

This is clear testimony of where we are headed as a country. I remember a scene in one of those Jesus xmas stories where a murder occurred in the market place and like Walmart folks still wanted to continue selling merchandise inspite of the heinous crime. The joy and true meaning is simply PLUCKED out of the holiday season which is similar to the harvest time of year celebrated for bringing forth food abundance. But! I see it all the time.
