how old is your friend? If she is over 30, then it sounds like she is taking the best deal on the table. I'm from the MD area, educated in DC[Georgetown U], returned to DC after grad school and have found that black women are the least approachable women of the all. Many DC black men agree with me on this. That's why there are so many mixed couples in the surrounding areas, i.e. Northern VA, PG County, Gaitherburg MD, Bethesda MD, and Silver Spring MD...have you ever been to Georgetown??

Mainstream people have "no problem" accpeting this. How can they feel at ease while sparks are brewing with Aborigines and racist marginalized white youths. Mmmh aboriginal ancestor what are you telling me. The "mainstream" may have deals in the works in Sudan and this is a just political move on their part. They are not bringing...

The fact that Bennet and his wive are virulent anti-Abortion activists is not enough to have you to admit how unlikely such an event is likely to happen under him as you said little about the ABORTION DOCTOR in Arkansas who offered to abort Black babies for free. The Black people coming out of New Orleans had enough to deal with - why deal with a kid? Too much of a hasle. Right?

First of all - she has taken the first step and is at the damned police station. Second of all, that she has survived as long as she has is a testament to her personal...

I said what I had to say about baggage in a previous post on this thread; suffice it to say that both men and women have baggage from past relationships and if we're honest, at one time or another, we have all probably given another person some undue grief because we were still reeling from the hurt we experienced in the past. My view of the soul is similar to that of a Buddhist, or Aristotle's view on the soul: http://www.answers.com/topic/soul Jesus did not teach that souls are immortal, seperate, wraithly persons either: Jesus taught that the Kingdom of Heaven is not "here or there", but that is "within you". one of the reasons why the black man shortage myth is just that is because not all of the women in that 'ratio' are desireable or seeking positive men in their lives. Women are quick to eliminate men who are non-degreed, but never eliminate women with kids. Which is a 'harder' dating situation?? dating a degree-less man or dating a babymomma? I think the babymomma is harder because her kids must come first in her life and require a great deal of her time. Also, what if the kids don't like...

I'm asking the question - not making a statement. Your insight is what I'm looking for here. Where do souls come from? They go to Heaven but are conjured from . . .? God is in Heaven. Wouldn't it seem reasonable to think that He creates new souls there? In thinking about it, I guess the question in and of itself is probably contrary to Christianity - since reincarnation is probably not embraced in the Christian tradition (is it?). Your thoughts? No. Poverty of others is not a fiat of the administration, the management, of slavery. Reparations only gets complicated when issues than pay-for-work get put on the table. Reparations is about money, and the coercion of labor without pay. Th poverty of others, outside of slavery, was not a consequence of slavery. Many of our ancestors were killed because their enslavement was seen as denying them the opportunity to work. The Irish Riots in New York City in the mid-1800s was a consequence of...

Sorry, I didn't communicate the point well enough. It's not just that poverty exists, its that because America utilized slavery, it denied poor and working class whites the opportunity to feed their families, earn income, and build wealth. Absent slavery there still would have been an American economy. America would have had to pay the poor and working class folks here. Personally, I'm not into fashion "trends," period. Bcause I don't have the time nor the money to buy a new wardrobe each time a new season arrives, I tend to buy investment clothing made with quality fabrics that can worn season after season. As far as I'm concerned, as long as a man has on clean clothes, he is dressed conservatively (with a little bit of style to him), then he looks good to me.
