sometimes i tihk christianity is right. there is power in jesus's name. but thi could be te result of the name and its position in our heads/subconscious, the associations we make when thiking about that name. if god created my heart that god could break it ... then that god is not G-d at all. if am I forced into a "choose me or be damned" choice with a limited view of the overall picture and a limited time in which to make the choice? That sounds real loving to me *snirk* In the best of...

Re: Is God Perfect?

Certainly man could be wrong in anything that we conceive/perceive. That said, man's notion that God is omnipotent/omnipresent, perfect etc., while perhaps beyond our tangible senses, is accessible at least in concept. IMO - it is difficult to perceive of God as anything but perfect. How could God not be? Would God still be God if He were less than perfect? Maybe that's how we define "perfect" - God. Well, my entire point on this subject is that man is about as far away from perfect as we...

That is why the world looks so strange now. Kids are programmable and they have been bombarded with MTV for 20 years now. Things began looking weird in the 80s and have just gotten worse. I have to wonder how futuristic stuff from the 60s was really how futuristic. Looking back the wrong turn started in the 70s and maybe just began becoming obvious in the 70s from a retrospective point of view. So maybe we need for kids to read stuff that was outside the mainstream even before 1977. It looks...

Far too many people voted for President Obama for it to not be obvious if they had tried the same thing in that election. Hence, I find all these "polls" putting President Obama and Mitt Romney neck-n-neck suspect as hell. What gives it away is "polls" are said to be actually showing that Romney is leading President Obama in women voters, which I know is a lie.

West said: "The righteous indignation of a Martin Luther King, Jr. becomes a moment of political calculation. And that makes my blood boil. Why? Because Martin Luther King, Jr died…he died…for the three crimes against humanity that he was wrestling with. Jim West said: Jim Crow, traumatizing, terrorizing, stigmatizing Black people. Lynching, not just ‘segregation’ as the press likes to talk about. Well...my brotha that's four crimes you cited not three........that's first. Getting old eh?
