Name-calling? Darn. I especially agreed with this: "Most of the so-called love I've seen has been a lot of infantile degradation..." Ad nauseum. I recently had a black fellow, ask me could I find him a girlfriend. Ask me could I find HIM a girlfriend. I said my name was'nt 'Hitch'. Frenchy - darling - do you understand anything about politics? Do you understand that a weak president shooting down an American plane would be political suicide? What if they shot the plane down and it really didn't have any "terrorists" on it? They made a mistake and thought a plane that was returning to land was in "attack mode" and shot it down. Who knows? We would first HAVE to make a conscious decision to be Unified, we would then have to ACT ON THAT UNITY, politically, socially, and economically. One example (among millions) of making a decision to unify and acting on it would be, for example, for African Americans to attend historically Black colleges and universities across America, which would financially empower historically Black colleges and universities while educating masses of Black people in this country, establish a base of...

Rowe, You are VERY correct here. No one gave any criteria . But if you noticed I did try to tease her (Frenchy's) criteria out of her. Maybe I did a poor job. But I would have loved to know her criteria. What I found most interesting is that NO ONE - except Art Gurl - denied the criteria I was perhaps falsely imputing. That's what I was waiting for. A plausible denial. Frenchy went so far as to explicitly state that ALL the examples I gave were beneath her - I was a little shocked actually.

By Sunnubian I am not sure where you practice law, but in NJ, child support is calculated based on both incomes, thereafter, the non-custodial parent, pays in cash or check directly to the cusotidal parent or to the child support office[in NJ it is called the Probation Department], who converts the cash into a check that is either deposited directly into the custodial parent's account or mailed to him or her. The Custodial Parent has the discretion to spend the money as he or she see fit.

The public has launched attacks against the fashion industry's narrow standard of beauty for quite some time. In the 80's, for example, there was a great concern for White teenage girls who suffered from anorexia nervosa and bulemia as a result of them trying to look like the super models being featured in popular fashion magazines. Feminists, parents, and other concerned members of the community criticized fashion editors harshly for not featuring "normal-sized" women in their magazines,...

Why Are We Still Equating Virginity With Purity??? However, if she ever does decide to activate her sex life, I say, do not subsequently burden yourself down with resentment and regrets. Being a virgin (or not a virgin) does not define who you are as a person. That is why I feel sorry for the woman who feels as if she has somehow lost her very essence after having sex because her self-worth and self-esteem is intimately tied to her virginity. This woman would benefit from knowing that women...

As Rowe suggested, the real message should be that ladies have much more to offer than their virginity. But I do believe that it is a good thing to do if a person want to do so.
