There goes someone else telling black people what we should and shouldn't focus on. At this point in time we should be focused on survival. We have been excluded and exploited for centuries. Did we expect anything to positively change?

Brotha Xum: The only thing more ridiculous than neck ties are high heel shoes. At least the don't cause men to fall down stairs. You ain't NEVER lied, my brotha. High heels are the most ridiculous invention that was originally designed for horse riders[probably by some fool in China/Japan]....and then another male fool thought "oh I wonder how a woman would look in these high wooden stilts as she washes dishes and cook meals ." And this painful and uncomfortable trend has been a burden to...

You know me and colleague of mine were JUST talking about this cancer epidemic in one of the most richest countries in the world. Clearly they can't go to places like Africa or other developing countries for intervention for cancer. Cuz why? These countries don't have money to pay for doctor's luxury homes, boats, vacations and lifestyle...but! America can. Hmmmmmmmmmm doesn't this sound strange or profitable? Cuz folks go where the money is. Right? So here's another question lurking. Is...

The Cancer Industry is just like the Oil Industry, they know where cancer comes from just like they know that fossel fuels pollute and destroy the planet, and just like they know that there are alternative non-destructive energy sources, they also know that there are alternatives to people, even children, having Cancer. The problem is that just like the Big Oil Lobby, the Big Pharma Lobby is going to dictate what Congress will and will not allow, outlaw, implement and/or have regulated. It...

That's exactly where we're headed since nothing has really been done to rid our government/Congress/Supreme Court of its fascists. America is going to continue to stagnate between receding back into its past transgressions and a sliver of a chance of advancing to it fullest potential.

I haven't read the article yet but I have to make a comment. I used to work for IBM. I had to show up in a suit an tie every day on the day shift. They then decided that if you worked the night shift you didn't have to wear a suit because they felt it would be safer at night. That is when I volunteered for the night shift. I find it so strange to see pictures and videos of men in Japan and China wearing suits and ties. Why does everyone go along with this. The only thing more ridiculous than...

In the last 20 years has Al Sharpton ever suggested that Black Americans read any particular book? I am not implying that he hasn't just that I have never heard if he has. Where are we supposed to get decent information or know what is important to focus on? I admit MOST books are garbage. That is why it is so important to find those that are not. Xum

I'm not getting what you are saying Roarin, I meant no disrespect to you personally. But, yes, I do consider myself African American, because: In America and the West "African" is considered a race, The Black Race (I know that African is really a nationality, but in the West "African" is synonymous with Black Race People ) (the same way that White is synonymous with Caucasian, i.e. White Race People , for example) therefore, I consider my race African , i.e., Black Race and my nationality is...
