Yep! I agree. That is one of the reasons why I am prown to cook my food compared to eating out. Although cooking was always a part of my role as a parent, it was usually a time factor that caused me to buy processed already made pre-heat packaged food. Big mistake. The ingredients inside these pre-prepared food never sat well with my family i.e. msg, and this salt I can't remember the name of it....but! It used to be an everyday spice until it was banned several years ago. They took it off...

That IS a shame!! I would really like to know, though ... exactly WHO is paying this money to Chase??? The lady being interviewed indicated that Chase makes money off the 'swipe' of her card ... as in perhaps 'debit fees' ... which would be paid by the store/merchant. However, the reporter stated that they are paid "per customer" - either for maintaining the accounts or the issuance of the cards - which sounds like the State (as the manager of the food stamp program, itself!) would be liable...

Children mean nothing in the US. Corporations are the real people. Money is more important than children in the US. That is why the rulers allow untested GMO food into the mainstream. Lunch should be prepared on site but every decision is based on the needs of corporate money. That means forget about edible, healthy food.

You are right about that. Our government has been allowing corporate America to feed American children garbage in school since they integrated the schools in America and the more our politicians sold out the health of American children, the worst the garbage public schools were allowed to feed children got. All of this pre-packaged, chemical saturated, unnatural and denatured food fed to public school children [and served on 99% of the dinner tables in their homes] correlates with the onset...

At least fix your kids a healthy breakfast before leaving for school, and it would be better to make them a health lunch to take as well, [although they are probably going to eat that slop at school for lunch anyway]. (I think some schools still have soft drink machines and allow fast food restaurants to serve at high schools).

The real issue is always spiritual, if you will, ethical. For populations in Africa, Malaysia and the US to be variously treated like livestock, the bar for food quality must be greatly lowered.
