ROTFLMAO!!!! p.s. I almost, fell for the Elder 'okidoke', until I heard his response to an African American woman (on his recently cancelled television show), who was opining about racism in the U.S. He asked her, why did'nt she just go 'back' to Africa if the racism was so bad here!! I could'nt believe it.

What always gets under my skin when black people prattle on like this is how blind or stupid the individual must be. I believe in one since that this is true – on an individual basis. But under the umbrella of racism it's complete bullshit. He did not overcome racism. In an oppressive society, when you belong to the group which is oppressed, YOU do not overcome anything. You are ALLOWED and GIVEN privileges which can easily be taken away. And lets be clear Colin Powell, a Condi Rice, an...

I get so sick and tired of hearing this bs from this republican lawn jockey. He acts as if HIS father is the only Black person or Black man who did ALL these things in a racist society. Millions of Black people in America did the same things he says his father did, accomplished the same things, his father did, served in WWI/WWII/Vietnam/Etc., and did so in the mist of a racist nation with the only difference being other Black people go to work every day, graduate from school (or get a...

I think everyone should be able to BE who they are - unless their behaviour is unacceptable to any part of society. As for the big guy running around the block an extra time, or going out of his way.... for myself, as a white woman, if a big guy (of any race) was getting in an elevator with me alone late at night, then just a smile from anyone would make me feel at ease if I felt uneasy. Making them feel comfortable? That's absolutely ridiculous! It's one thing to say that seeing a group of teenagers talking loudly and wearing oversized clothing makes one uncomfortable--I don't like being near any race of teens, as a matter of fact (barely out of my teens years myself, funny enough). But then some people will persist in feeling threatened because you are Black, irregardless of how neatly dressed or well spoken you are. I've experienced situations like this, only with Asians...

It was her choice to date/pursue Joe Thug and Ray-ray and thus it was her 'fault' when they let her down. If you sleep with dogs, you just might wake up with fleas and puppies!!! It seems, like Dr Audrey Chapman*******[link below with highlighted quote] has concluded, that many black women are looking to be a savior in their quest to attempt to try to change a bad boy into a good man..as oppose to starting out with a good man and building from there.
