Oh, come, Faheem, You call what I wrote "garbage" and then you refer to Noam Chomsky? A more one-sided, unheeding, unhistorical (he agreed with Robert Faurisson, a French neo-nazi who said that the Holocaust never happened) speaker of half-truths has never existed. In Chomsky's world, America is to blame for everything, including the 9/11 attacks. In his pamphlet "On the Bombings" he said that it was not as bad as Pres. Clinton's firing of missiles into the Sudan. He never mentioned that...

Leaving Iraq the first time was a DIRECT result of knowing the democrats would NOT support defeating saddam if it took a war to do so. Kerry himself voted against liberating Kuwait! Democrats only went along because their beloved "UN" gave them permission, and an out, to remove saddam from Kuwait. Kerry still thinks that way obviously. The elder Bush KNEW that the dems, who controlled congress at the time, would back down from doing anything other than what the UN mandated regarding Kuwait.

Owning a studio isn't the only issue. The issue is in entertainment is distribution. You can own whatever you like, if the distribution channels are locked up between 3 or 4 companies, that's a bigger battle than most people know.
