one of the reasons why the black man shortage myth is just that is because not all of the women in that 'ratio' are desireable or seeking positive men in their lives. Women are quick to eliminate men who are non-degreed, but never eliminate women with kids. Which is a 'harder' dating situation?? dating a degree-less man or dating a babymomma? I think the babymomma is harder because her kids must come first in her life and require a great deal of her time. Also, what if the kids don't like...

I've run into types like that too back in high school and now in college. I once listned to a lecture by Dr Ivan VanSertima It was proposed that the reason we see so many statues with the noses removed is that during those times the people believed that the spirit of the dead person exited and entered the nose and that if they remove the nose they could keep the spirit in or "lock it out". I've never been able to confirm if it is myth or fact that Napoleon destroyed the nose of the Sphinx.

DDT could reduce deaths from malaria to near zero within a year. AND... THE ENTIRE SCIENCE COMMUNITY KNOWS IT!!!! Of course, most malaria deaths are in Africa, followed by South, and Central America. And...Asia of course. Hmmmm. The lie is documented in 'Hoodwinked' by an author that escapes just now.

I don't think this is true. One of the first precepts in the Constitution is the separation of church and state. The reasons for this were totally self serving. The colonists were tired of the Church (as in Church of England, which differed hardly at all from the Roman Catholic Church) influencing the rules of state, as it did so heavily in England. The idea was a complete breakaway from European conrol. The orthodoxy of Catholicism makes it very difficult for a country to experience self...

The Super Negro thing is a form of exceptionalism, that goes back centuries. It is similar to the exceptionalism often found among cultural or political black nationalist.
