That is why the world looks so strange now. Kids are programmable and they have been bombarded with MTV for 20 years now. Things began looking weird in the 80s and have just gotten worse. I have to wonder how futuristic stuff from the 60s was really how futuristic. Looking back the wrong turn started in the 70s and maybe just began becoming obvious in the 70s from a retrospective point of view. So maybe we need for kids to read stuff that was outside the mainstream even before 1977. It looks...

I was also thinking about the permanent underclass issue,NSpirit. And not to mention the current tax breaks for the wealthy and for businesses, and the stimulus money they are still receiving. Yet you have Tea Party groups who go out and can show up in DC, who don't work or have little employment to protest on behalf of these corporations. There is definitely a meritocracy going on.

These assholes are just trying to contribute to the high unemployment rates during this administration. I think that sometimes we forget or really have no idea how far racism will go and how politically entrenched it is in this country, i.e., " the southeast." I can say that I've known for quite a while (years and years) that often you are more likely to get hired if you already have a job. The logic (supposed logic, i.e., white logic) was that if a person was employed it was proof that the...
