FBI Shuts Down Civil Rights Era Investigations

Agency will let old murder cases stay cold. With little fanfare, the FBI announced in an article in the Washington Post last week that it was closing its investigations into all but a handful of unsolved civil rights era murders . The head of the FBI team assigned to investigate these cold cases stated that “there’s maybe five to seven cases where we don’t know who did it. For every other case, we got it.” This announcement came as a surprise to activists who have pushed the FBI and the...

Nope! Not surprised. More like...expected. White folks have been suppporting themselves, even if one commits mass murder, since the days of the Mamuluks in Egypt. They have managed to keep this form of brotherhood for hundreds of years. Otherwise, who would give a murderer $150,000 to fight a case that accuses him of killing a child? Who would do that? Massa. But!

Published on Sunday, April 1, 2012 by Consortium News If the Supreme Court Goes Rogue by Sam Parry What happens to a Republic under a written Constitution if a majority of the Supreme Court, which is empowered to interpret that Constitution, goes rogue? What if the court’s majority simply ignores the wording of the founding document and makes up the law to serve some partisan end? Does that, in effect, turn the country into a lawless state where raw power can muscle aside the democratic...

Thank you for asking my sista. My feeling of abandonment came from my son being gunned down in front of a least 40 morning commuters whom merely swirved around his body as he fell to the ground like he was road kill. No one called the police. No one stopped their cars. He just laid there dying. No one saw him as maybe someone who could be one of their children-a son. Or maybe a family member.
