Re: Plan to Honor MLK at Confederate Monument Draws Fire From Both Sides

They'll build that sucker, there'll be red and black paint all over it as soon as it's complete. These folks couldn't stand MLK when he was alive; he's been dead a long while and they still can't stand him. Let him rest in peace. If he was alive, he'd probably tell all living affiliates to kiss his ass, for allowing him to be assassinated. There was no love for him then; don't feign it now.

I don't think they'll build it there, because there has been all kinds of backlash. I'm sure the person who suggested this had good intentions, but it was a bad idea from the start; I mean, why would African Americans and anyone else who truly believe in Civil Rights [and our Constitution], and Equality, want to see a MLK monument anywhere near racist confederate monuments. Stone Mountain is where the KKK was started, and it is a place where they used to LYNCH Black people. How Black people...

Not all drones are "attack" drones. In fact, some of them do not have the capacity to shoot and/or kill. Some of them are just used for "surveillance" and have special cameras on them (night vision, etc.) ... which, as I understand it, is the kind that was used for this situation. Also, in the drone debate about whether or not to target and kill American citizens with one ..... the argument is VERY SPECIFICALLY and NARROWLY FOCUSED on whether or not to use them to kill American citizens that...
