In principle, I think it's a great idea from a free speech perspective. If it's seen as the "ghettoization" of porn, then who cares? As long as I can avoid accidentally stumbling onto it (and -- ahem -- I can freely access it if I so choose), then it seems fair, equitable, and protective of whatever free speech rights courts have misinterpreted the 1st Amendment as protecting.

But Black Viking raises a good point, though... Privacy rights, especially in this dawn of the neo-fascists. A court just ruled that Google has to turn over certain types of search inquiries. I worry that the point of that is to create a future campaign issue, where visits to .xxx sites, or Google searches for same, becomes the new marijuana.

As in, MBM's future opponent for Congress makes an issue out of his visits to these sites, they way they used to do with marijuana use.
