Ditto to what you say here. It's horrifying. Horrifying.
It's like living in that episode of the 'Twilight Zone', where a beautiful young woman (actress Donna Douglas), has had her last 'cosmetic surgery' to look like the 'normal' beautiful people, and when they take off the bandages, she is the same, and when 'we' look at her, we think/say to ourselves, she is beautiful, while they, the 'normal' people are actually ugly. But when the 'normal' people look at her, they recoil in horror at her 'ugliness'.

One of my favorite episodes; but chillingly true to life of the non-white looking African woman. Oh, the humanity of it all.
