Not exactly. My reality is low already. I expect equal pay for equal work, but statistics prove that's not what I actually receive. Any transition could make the situation better or worse ... who knows, could go either way, depending. But the reality is, in this country, (individual experiences aside) on the average Blacks are paid less than Whites for doing the same job. I hope you already know that. Roll Eyes

And I don't have to go anywhere to know that as f**ked up as this country is (excuse the french, but that's the only appropriate word I could think to use at the moment!), there are few places better to live than here. As I have stated before, I'm glad to be an American. Proud is a whole other can of worms ... but I can count my blessings and acknowledge reality at the same time! Eek
