Reply to "WALMART REMAINS OPEN AFTER WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH, SHOPPER KEPT SHOPPING . . ."

"This might sound crazy but does anyone think that because Lillia Blandin was an employee of Woodforest Bank working inside the Walmart store, working in an contracted office space leased on a monthly basis by Walmart to Woodforest Bank, a banking business not associated with Walmart except for the lease, maybe part of the manager's decision making process to not empty the store of all shoppers and close the entire store?"

=================================================================

No.  Because the way Walmarts are set up, these leased spaces are right inside Walmart with about as much distinction as the Electronics Department of Walmart, besides, they are usually at the front of the store facing the end of all or most of the cashier stations (where customers pay for their merchandise and exit the store), not only that, but many Walmart have game rooms for kids in between those leased spaces, as well as public rest rooms.

So, absolutely, Walmart should have shut down, even if it were until the police finished the crime scene investigation and the crime scene had been cleaned up and/or closed off.
