This is very fascinating. One would think that the officers would know not to send Hot N Steamy texts from their work phone, but if they were led to believe the phones could also be for personal use then they should win their case.
In light of my own beef with Verizon i really wanna see what's going to happen with Arch Wireless... who supplied actual transcripts of the messages to an employer. That seems above and beyond to me. Why would u need transcripts unless it was some sort of criminal case, which this was not.
I did find out that Verizon was one of the telecoms which assisted the bush administration to eavesdrop on americans, but was later protected from litigation by the obama administration.
Telecoms and Privacy...oughta be a fascinating topic for the courts, huh?
