That's another thing that annoys me about the way things are in this country. People don't want someone who presents himself as more intellectual than the average. Richer than average is okay, but intellectual has become a no-no.
*It is funny you would mention that VOX. I read an article about bush and how he represents a move towards ant-intellectualism....where he helps marginally intelligent white people still be competitive....think about it...look at the grinding halt the IT boom came to....I really do not think it is all economical.....I think their greatest mistake(racists in power) was letting the Internet become unregulated...because once people can learn in an independent manner, they are harder to control.....but under Clinton this country was really moving forward....now it seems like some backwoods azz hick azz colonial place full of hog farmers running things.......
