Reply to "The Myth Of The Absent Black Fathers"

This is good news!  And it always touches my heart when I see a black man with his child and behaving like a parent. I try to reward that with compliments or whatever I  have when I see it.  There have been several times when I am driving down the street and I see a young man walking with his kid and if I could, I would stop em.  Most times the men think I'm crazy until I pull out my bag of tricks and give the child something to play with.  [as a teacher] I always keep those type of things in my car or purse-just in case there is a crying child in a grocery store or wherever and the parent is having a hard time.  But here lately I stopped doing that as much...cuz some black people make me sooooooooo mad in how they treat their children-they are NOT raising them,  So I don't reward bad behavior. And recently I've seen more bad behavior from young parents than good behavior.  Nevertheless, I just love hearing this.  And is testimony that you cannot BELIEVE everything you see or hear from the media regarding our black men.  All I have left to say is....Hal. La. Lu. Yer.    But
