The Greater Evil: Big Business or Big Government?

In light of all of the recent revelations about corrupt business practices (Enron, Arthur Andersen, Worldcom, Xerox, Martha Stewart, et al - just the very tip of the iceberg?) an interesting question comes to mind. Which should the average American fear most: big business or big government?
