Reply to "The Black "Progress Narrative" is Self-Defeating"

I agree with him, too, provided that it is understood that to demand something does not necessarily have to be Verbal, that most of what we want has to be 'demanded' by our Actions [and non-Actions].

Ex.:

Present/support candidates of our choosing, not chosen FOR us by Corporate Democrats.

Move our money from non-Black banks to Black banks, or to Small Community Banks or Credit Unions.

Stop boughing down to the West's 'Golden Calf', MATERIALISM.

Unify to create Worker-Co-Ops to create our own jobs for ourselves, and produce what we need, ourselves.

Support our HBCUs and other African American Institutions,

Support LEGITIMATE Civil Rights Fighters and Organizations, and Justice System Reform Groups and Organizations, and Prison Reform Groups and Organizations, and Prison Industrial Complex Abolitionists.

Start and support our own Legal Defense Fund.

Start and/or Support Our Own Medical Schools, Law School, Agricultural Colleges.

Support Black farmers, especially those growing affordable organic.

Create African/Nubian/Kemetic Schools For Our Children to Attend.

Fund, Build, Our Own Hospitals, Clinics, and Health Facilities.

MOVE AFRICAN AMERICA AND AFRICAN AMERICANS FROM DEPENDENCE ON  NON-BLACK PEOPLE AND/OR INSTITUTION BEING 'FAIR' OR 'JUST', TO DEPENDENCE ON OUR OWN INSTITUTIONS AND OUR OWN SELVES.

"DEMAND" BY SUBTRACTING OURSELVES/BODIES OUT OF THE FINANCIAL EQUATIONS THOSE WHO HATE US, AND IN TURN BREAK THEIR RACIST INSTITUTIONS AND SYSTEMS THAT DEPEND ON AND PROFIT FROM THE PRESENCE/HEAD-COUNT OF BLACK BODIES IN THE FORM OF GOVERNMENTS/FEDERAL FUNDING AND CONTRACTS.

WE MUST MAKE ACTION DEMANDS, NOT JUST VERBAL 'DEMANDS'.
