Reply to "SLAVERY HAS NEVER ENDED, IT HAS ONLY BEEN BLACKED OUT BY THE MEDIA FOR PEOPLE WITH MONEY"

I'm not saying that we should completely ignore the plights of others. What I am saying is that our primary focus should be on our plight, not others. We need to choose our battles wisely. Fight our own fight.

This country has regressed in regards to race relations. Too many whites have gone crazy. They have taken the robes and hoods out of the closet, figuratively and literally. Our people, especially our young folk, are being murdered by these psychopaths and they are not going to prison in most cases. Laws are being modified to hurt us specifically. It is like this country has regressed back to the early 70s or late 60s. For all we know, the lunatics are probably working on a bill that would strip us of our citizenship entirely.

13th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution

Section 1: Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

This is the reason we are being locked up for petty crimes, nonviolent crimes, for owing debt, and for no reason at all (or for just being black). The 13th Amendment states that if we are convicted of a crime, our punishment is slavery. The definition of crime, in regards to us, is very loose and subjective. Look at a policeman wrong? Off to jail you go! Shoot a warning shot at a wall to stop abusive ex (who had a restraining order against him)? Get 20-25 years in prison.

Prisoners work for no wages or wages far below the minimum. They are performing jobs that used to be performed by those outside of prison. Greedy corporations are making a lot of money using prison (slave) labor. In this country, if you have been incarcerated, you can be denied a job. No job = No shelter, no food, no water (as in no basic human rights). You can also be denied housing. Forget about being eligible to vote. Doing your time in this country is meaningless. You will be punished for the rest of your life. This is what passes for 'justice' in this country.

Our children are being sent to juvenile detention (jail) for misbehaving in school. This makes me want to  .

The USA has the highest incarceration rate and the highest number of incarcerated people in prison in the world despite the fact that the crime rate is lower than it was 20 to 30 years ago and continues to decline. Yet, the incarceration rate continues to climb

I care about the plight of others in other countries, especially in those countries where blacks are suffering. I've donated to relief efforts and will continue to do so. I've been outraged by horrible things that are being done in other countries such as Morocco (slavery), Tanzania (Albinos being killed or mutilated), Haiti (slavery and abject poverty), etc.  However, my primary focus is still on the plight of my people in this country.
