What the hell is racial mongrelization?
Another term that is the same as miscegenation. Either way, we're 300 years too late to talk about fear of losing racial purification.
It's probably a little different. "Mongrelization" implies that race mixing is inherently bad, because the mixed race "mongrel" is less "pure." "Miscegenation" doesn't directly imply anything negative. It looks like it does, but that's because people confuse the prefix. At first, you'd look and see the prefix "mis" and think it means something bad. But really, the prefix is not "mis," it's "misce," which just means "mix." It's same the prefix in the word miscellaneous. So it's not mis-cegenation, it's misce-genation. So unlike "mongrelization," it's theoretically possible to correctly use the term "miscegenation" and not see anything wrong with the phenomenon.
I never realized that about the prefix. Learn something new every day.
