You are soooooooo right my brotha! During slavery, the plantation that processed canes was called the Queen's sugar because of the addiction the British had. The discovery of the sugar cane sprung plantations up all over the Caribbeans mainly because of European's sweet tooth and the need for it in their "tea." It is their diet actually that is killing us. And I am not surprised to hear how developing countries that followed the standard of America are now suffering.
I remember back in the day, I never once saw a fat Asian. Today? Not so much. Plus the eating of rice has caused many Asians to be afflicted with diabetes. Something they don't talk about but is affecting their culture big time. Too me? All these diet diseases are testimony that we were doing A ok until the contact of the European. Our life expectancy has plunged compared to back in the day. And if that's not incentive enough to change the way we eat? I don't KNOW what is. But!
