I'm using the crystal roll-on. Here are the ingredients: Purified Water, Mineral Salts, Potassium Alum, Celquat.
You confirmed my suspicions. From my days of general inorganic chemistry, I remember that potassium alum is a double salt consisting of potassium sulfate and aluminum sulfate. My concern is that the crystal can release aluminum in form of ions in the skin like the conventional types. I could be overcalling it but it is hard for me to ignore the chemical makeup of potassium alum.
