Reply to "Michigan Still Defying Court Order To Deliver Clean Water To Flint Homes"

No water filter can filter out lead. None claim to do that on their label. Some filters use a resin to catch lead but the resin declines with use after not too long and lead can get through – especially where there’s too much of it in the water.  No doubt of this! That’s why the best a filter can do is claim limited lead reduction. It’s limited. What works is either reverse osmosis or a water distiller.  That kind of unit will provide safe drinking water. The best water filters do not remove lead. This is an indisputable fact.

That fact just goes to show you just how bought and paid for America's [corporate owned and operated] media is, otherwise, all of those facts would have been stated in each and every 'media'/'news' report on this Flint "water crisis'.  So, America's "mainstream" media is a complicit co-conspirator in the gross abuse of authority exercised by Michigan's governor, EPA and local government to poison an entire city of American citizens.

So, who exactly does this sick, twisted, governor and his crony co-conspirators think they are fooling by having the "mainstream" media to continually parrot, "water filters", "water filters" while deliberately refraining from even mentioning that the citizens of Flint are still being poisoned by their own government.

We stopped drinking tap water a long time ago; hell, I don't even cook with tap water now that I live in a city that is predominately Black.

I would strongly suggest to African Americans that live in predominately Black cities to NOT drink the tap water, to buy distilled [preferably alkaline] water for drinking and cooking, and still use only filtered water for anything else.
