But WHO was it that WAS doing the singing and dancing mbm? And there ARE celebrated black coaches, singers, actors, stars, musicians, idols, miss americas, politicians, religious leaders, secretary of states, and throughout EVERY facet of life we are there. Again, never would you see that in a 'racist' society.

And frankly, I do not believe in 'equal' opportunity, since that tends to leave out the aspirations, talents, and enthusiasm of the best and brightest amongst us. What the goal SHOULD be is:

FREEDOM of OPPORTUNITY.

You on the otherhand look at the picture backwards. For one example:

Not enough head coaches (in your opinion), then something must be wrong!!! But where are all these great black coaches hiding? Who has deemed them better than the current coaches? Do you know for a fact that there are all these great coaches out there floating around somewhere unemployed presumably? Do we not now have about 10 times as many coaches at all levels than we did just a decade ago? So the end picture you take as your snap-shot is not the whole story, and that is not a barometer in all cases of anything, especially a racism problem. You'll not you do not see many black male ballet artists for example. Should we worry about racism in ballet now????

Human beings are by nature are not all the same, equality looks good in text books, but lets stop the dumbing down of everyone into simplistic little 'lowest common-denominator' stereotypes, like has occurred since we integrated into public schools for example. I would rather compete without all the whining, excuses and solicitation, because to do otherwise is not 'keeping it real'.
