HeruStar, you, just like Nmaginate are trying too hard by overanalzying and, thereby, trying to see errors and inconsistencies with my logic instead of just sticking to the conversation at hand. Where in the hell did you get the idea that I don't agree that it is a politically viable solution?

I merely stated that the problems in black communities need to be dealt with first before the problem of education should be considered. I would put "ACCESS" first over dealing with the problems of education, mainly because there are organizations out there, the NEA, for one, that are already attacking the issues of the problems with public education.

As flawed as public education may be, it is still more than effective enough in doing the job it was created to do--empowering young minds. The problem is, young minds have to be there in order to get the education.
