Reply to "Gate Keeper vs. Gate Crasher"

Richard Dixon talks about his disconnection from the African diaspora:
Such individuals are so ashamed of being black that they are drawn to an Euro-centric perspective in thought, culture, and association. A destructive perspective which historically has viewed people of color (particularly black people) with prejudice and unimportant in the shaping of world civilization. I can say such things based on my own personal experiences. It was not that long ago that I was one those brothers who not only denied his blackness, but wanted to destroy and humiliate the stalwarts of the African-American community by participating in a smear campaign of half-truths, bigotry, and arrogance while as a black Republican.

Here someone admits what others see clearly: that current political identifiers and one's view of others in the Black community are tied together.

I doubt that during his enchantment with the GOP that he could see himself for the Gate Keeper that he was.
