I saw the video, but can't remember what site I was on.

Of course the media is going to "cooperate" with the police in keeping her side of the story out of the media .  .  . [even the "Black" media].'

But, my honest take on this is either she was being harassed by the police in that town to the point of being too paranoid to trust going anywhere with police when they did show up at her home; [i.e., was being harassed for expressing her feelings on the police murders of Black people online], either that, or she truly had some mental health issues, because just like it isunthinkable that police would kill her instead of allowing her onmother or at least a professional negotiator talk to her, [and over misdemeanor charges] it also makes no sense that she would reactso adamantly against being arrested after failing to appear, and only having misdemeanor charges [disorderly conduct, traffic tickets . . . ].

But, at this point, with all of these extra-judicial killings of Black people, [even Black women (as we see), and even Black children], it's a wonder that ANY Black person trusts ANY cop, EVER!

I agree.  Except for 2 things.  One on her part..the other on the po po. And I guess when you're in that predicament it's hard to tell how you would react but   (1) If she sensed danger with the police why would she behave in a manner to egg them on while her child was in the car?   To hear your own mother say to someone "you just have to murder me?"  That was a tad extreme to me only cuz her son was in the car and in the apartment when she met her fatality...she had the same demeanor then and engaging her son in it-which is something he was/is too young to process.  And down the line, he will be faced with a lot of psychological and philosophical issues as an adolescent.  And (2) Misdemeanor charge really has no validity since the police shot a black man on the job with his hands up in the air....or when they shot a black man who was merely selling products...no laws broken in both situations.    So it didn't matter the reason why cuz they were gonna intimidate any way...but! I struggle with your point...if in fact she had mental issues, why didn't the police [since they are so professional and all] follow agency procedures with the mental health department-that's what the agency is designed for.  To assist police when dealing with people mental disabilities.  So did they?  Hell no.  And so I am witnessing a shoot to kill mindset that the police is now participating through this country.   So who do we trust?  Definitely not each other....and most definitely not the po po.  We are currently standing in suspension....who will be our hero? But!
