True dat my sista.  Just like Dr. Cress-Wesling....her book is hard to locate as well.  And I think it's because it's controversial.  I remember hearing about a young white kid all of 22 years old talking about the confederate statues being part of "his" history....when the fact is white America lies about what really happened in America all the time.  The truth is "his" history is somewhere in Europe...not in America.    They don't wanna talk about the Little Ice Age or the Bubonic plague that killed almost 2/3 of Europe enabling the continent to grow its own food.  And the monarch vs the serfs.  Nawl they don't wanna bring that shit up but that's their "real" history....including coming to the new land and stealing it from the Native Americans and building it with the stolen people from Africa....nawl.   They wanna talk whimsical.  And whimsical is that young white boy thinking that this is his country and no one else's-which is the biggest lie told.  As why I always say old books are very valuable.  And preserving them is vital to our history and world history.  But!
