I'm with you on that one, Vox. When it comes to the issue of support for the "war", the whole issue did, and seemingly still does, have an "us" and "them" boundry. True enough, there were persons of every race, creed and color protesting against it in the streets ... but really, most Black folks were like Eek Eek at this whole We're-gonna-bomb-the-hell-out-of-Iraq-come-hell-or-high-water tactic that GeeDub threw at the American people.

One of the most unbelievable things that I saw come out of this whole thing was for someone's patriotism and/or support for military personnel to be severely and critically challenged, just because they had the presence of mind to question the action of what we clearly see now is a madman!! The Administration and the Republicans made some folks fear for their jobs just because they dared to scratch their heads and go, "Wait a minute ... doesn't the CONGRESS declare wars in this country??" Confused

But, then again, Vox, your question is highly speculative ... cause you can please believe nobody even remotely like you nor me nor MBM nor anyone on this board would have ever been picked to serve in this Administration!! LOL brotongue

BLACK by NATURE, PROUD by CHOICE.
Free your mind, and the rest will follow.
