Never heard of it. But! The way things are today among blackfolks....this is DEFINITELY needed. I was lucky enough to feel BLACK LOVE everyday while growing up.... However, today....there are MANY who do not KNOW what that feels like! It's tragic to say the least. As a young girl....I felt the safest in my own neighbhorhood...where I could walk in the door of any house on the street....and was not only welcomed but FED with the rest of the kids. I was NEVER sent home cuz it wasn't enough food....they SHARED what little they had. As a child...I didn't even KNOW it was "little." Black children NEED to feel that. I hope this "BLOWS" up....cuz our children deserve to see and FEEL....REAL black love....not that imitation stuff on video/television....real real "RAW" black love. There's nothing on this earth LIKE IT.
I agree, Ms. Koco!! I was loved by Black people growing up, too. And I learned to take that love past my own inner circle and I have love for all my people as a consequence. (Even the one's I don't like too much! )
I hope this "blows up" too ... for the sake of the children, if nothing else. They are on their 15th year and this is the first I've heard of it, though.
