I don't KNOW what happened. I guess the clich is back.
This is what I said in my response to Sista Yemaya:
Yep! I learned about this during my black power days when I was in college majoring African Studies and Anthropology. At one while I wanted to be an anthropologist i.e the study of humans not the physical one. But! After I learned how racist anthropologists were and how they tried to make the Piltdown man the original "man" who derived from Europe instead of "Lucy" in Africa. I was done. I have several books written by Dr. Diop. And as an amatuer Eyptologist I used many of his books as reference. He was the ONLY muslim man I respected at that time. Cuz he went beyond the call of duty to ensure that Africans that is black Africans not Arab Africans attain their legacy in two ways: being the first humans and being the true originators of [Intelligent] Egyptian language, all sciences, art, math and culture and that meant setting the record straight in term of the true "chronological" human timeframe-and NOT the one made up by massa. Diop was a dynamic man with outstanding principles, black pride and "heart." Although they i.e. massa continue to dismiss these truths about us presently, the proof [of who we are as a people] is clearly in the historically pudding. And this man was one of the MAIN blackfolks bring it to the open platform. But!
