Because the Chinese are not European they get a pass?? They have resource needs as well as economic needs. They as other outsiders see the chance to exploit the people and resources of a politically, economically weak Africa. Only time will tell the truth about what is really going on with the Africa-China relationship. But, actually, if China, having the upper-hand economically, do right by Africa, not have or tolerate racism/racial condescendence, and unfair practices, the relationship has the potential to make China and Africa the most powerful nation/continent on earth. The sheer number of Africans and Chinese alone, would make an African-China alliance the largest and most powerful military coalition on...

If done right, fair and equitably, an Africa-China alliance would change the future of the world for centuries to come. I know this is OFF TOPIC....but! The scenerio no longer exist where teachers have classroom power to mold children academically they the way they were trained. Pedophiles posing as educators focked that up by molesting unsuspecting children in clear view and in the classroom during class time So I as an afterschool instructor have to do the BEST I can to mitigate the damages. That was beautiful all the way round, from the officer actually handling a "noise" complaint without hate, evil, violence or someone's child winding up dead, to Shaq taking it upon himself to approach the police department to give this officer his due 'props' , to both the officer and Shaq deciding to surprise the kids they way they did. It's sad when the people we grew up with pass away never to be replaced. It just means the elders are passing shifting the baton to the babies of today. Humanity replenishing itself, possibly not for the better, but time waits for no one. It's an awakening that eventually, everyone's time is done. I just had to post something when I read that he had passed away. I so enjoyed Star Trek and still watch the re-runs sometimes, and "Dr. Spock" was my favorite character.
