Interesting article ..... But ... let's not forget that most of those "Afro-Latinos" won't call themselves "Black" and want nothing to do with our/their shared history as it relates to their African heritage!! Several of those Caribbean countries are trying to BLEACH any semblance of "our" heritage off of their skin. I'm trippin' on the chick sitting right beside him bobbing her head in agreement or whatever... Robertson's remarks amount to pure, unmitigated WHITE SUPREMACY. It's like he was saying, "How dare the Haitian slave colony rise up in revolt, defeat their White slave masters and live to tell about." The idea that the Haitians would have ever thought of doing such a thing, let alone being successful at it, has apparently been a sore spot with America's White men in power since Thomas Jefferson.

I got the tail end of Robertson's statement on the Keith Olberman show last night. I used to think this man was truely a Christian, albeit a misguided one, but now it does seem that he has deep socially conditioned racism racing through his brain. The true history of Haiti's freedom is in reality closer to the philosophy of Jesus Christ than that of any other nation on earth because Africans held in slavery in Haiti fought for their freedom and won and with every white person on the island...

It is also why I struggle with "Conventional Christianity". This has caused an increase in Russian and Albanian gangs and organized crime. This mess is never addressed when discussing immigration. African descended illegal immigrants almost always get turned out or their status is cut short as soon as their home countries become 'stable'. Now look at what has happened in Boston.
